HPLC

High Performance Liquid chromatography is  a form of column chromatography  that pumps a sample mixture or analyte in a solvent (known as the mobile phase) at high pressure through a column with chromatographic packing material (stationary phase).

HPTLC

High-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) is an enhanced form of thin-layer chromatography (TLC). A number of enhancements can be made to the basic method of thin-layer chromatography to automate the different steps, to increase the resolution achieved and to allow more accurate quantitative measurements.

Hydrophilic nature

hydrophile is a molecule or other molecular entity that is attracted to water molecules and tends to be dissolved by water. In contrast, hydrophobes are not attracted to water and may seem to be repelled by it.

hyphenated

Hyphenated technique is combination or coupling of two different analytical techniques with the help of proper interface. For example separation methods along with measurement is called as hyphenated technique.
